LETTER FROM BISHOP VEZELIS O.F.M.
Dear EINSICHT Readers:
I am very happy to visit Germany and to meet the dedicated and devoted people who are fighting so valiantly for the true Faith. You also are fighting against great numbers. You are not alone. All over the world there are small groups of faithful Catholics who refuse to betray the true Faith.
For the success of this struggle, we must always look to the example of Our Lord. He has come into this world as the Light of the world. He has come unto His own, but His own did not receive Him. He still comes to those who will receive Him. And, to those who receive Him, He gives them the power to become the sons of God!
Jesus Christ comes to us as a special kind of Light: a light which confounds the world because He teaches that pride and arrogance are darkness; that humility is light and truth. Because the world prefers the darkness of pride and arrogance there can be no peace. When there will be the Light of the world teaching Truth in humility, then there will be peace among men.
It is my prayer for each one of you that the Light of Truth may shine brightly in your hearts and that its warmth may console you in these days of darkness.
I bless each one with my episcopal blessing. And may each be especially blessed this Christmas!
